ABOUT

Founder & Principal Architect | AVMA Design Studio

Anthony Aversa is an architect and designer with a passion for creating modern, livable homes that balance beauty, functionality, and a meaningful connection to place. As the founder of AVMA Design Studio—short for Aversa Modern Architecture—he brings over a decade of experience designing and managing high-end residential and lifestyle projects across the country.

Before launching his own practice, Anthony helped to establish and direct the Miami office for Hampton’s based BMA Architects, leading luxury home projects throughout South Florida. His earlier career took him to New York City, where he worked with Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) on international architectural projects and later as Senior Project Manager at Equinox, overseeing the design of flagship clubs and the company’s Hudson Yards headquarters.

Anthony founded his practice with the driving belief that great architecture can directly elevate the quality of one’s life, and through his design approach he aspires to do just that for his clients.

He is a licensed architect in Florida and New York, NCARB certified, and a LEED Accredited Professional. He earned his Master of Architecture from Roger Williams University and studied in Florence, Italy—where his appreciation for timeless design and craftsmanship deepened.

Today, through AVMA Design Studio, Anthony focuses on modern custom residential architecture that reflects the way people live in South Florida—open, light-filled, and connected to nature. His work emphasizes clarity, proportion, and material authenticity, delivering homes that feel as effortless as they are enduring.
